Art Exploration for Young Artists

Ages:  9-15

Schedule:  Ongoing, Saturdays 10:00am-12:00pm

Fee:  $100 per 6 weeks ($80 for CCftA members), or $20 per walk-in

  These ongoing workshops focus on connecting students’ imaginations with the skills necessary to successfully complete projects.   All media and ability levels welcome.

Kids for Kids Theater Workshop

Ages:  8-12

Mon - Fri, 9:30am - 12:30 pm

Fee:  $250 ($225 members)

Pre-registration for the whole workshop is required; Class size limited.

     Ever wanted to put on a play? Ever wanted to make costumes, learn how the lights work and perform in a show? Well, here’s your chance! Kids for Kids workshop teaches the nuts and bolts of putting on a play! Everything from backstage to ON STAGE! Students will learn acting fundamentals along with stage production concepts. All students will be cast in an ensemble play which utilizes all skills taught in the 3-weekclass (along with self confidence and team building exercises.) A final performance will end the never forgotten experience, open to family,friends and the community!

10:00am to 3:00pm (10:00am-12:00pm, 1 hour brown bag lunch with entertainment, then 1:00pm-3:00pm)

Fees:
10:00am-12:00pm = $125 ($100 for CCftA members)           
1:00pm - 3:00pm = $125 ($100 for CCftA members)
10:00am- 3:00pm = $200 ($175 for CCftA members)

A week of workshops designed to encourage artistic expression and raise awareness of the many branches of art. Students are invited to explore the worlds of Fine Art, Music, Theater as they create under the instruction of exceptional area artists and performers.  Projects and themes vary by session.
