Talk and Book Signing with Anthony M. Amore
Sunday, April 29, 2018; Finger foods reception, cash bar, book signing 6:00 pm; Talk 7:00
Every day Anthony Amore goes to work at Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, he sees an empty frame on the wall that used to hold Johannes Vermeer’s The Concert, one of 13 paintings stolen from the Gardner on March 18, 1990. Amore, since 2015, the head of security at the Gardner and its chief theft investigator, has been on the hunt for those paintings, making, as he puts it, the haystack smaller. One day, he vows, he will find the needle.
